The Dallas Symphony Orchestra is an orchestra that primarily performs in downtown Dallas' Arts District. The orchestra performed music from "Star Wars: Return of the Jedi" in an event taking place in May of 2022. To increase attendance for the event and thus increase the DSO's profits, I created a poster and a social media post. Both items seek to convey the source of the performance's music without using Star Wars' logo or images from the movie series. Thus, these posters utilize patterns made up by shooting stars and the icons of Star Wars' Rebel Alliance and Empire, contrasting blue and red colors associated with good versus evil, and letters from varying fonts to allude to the variety of characters and worlds in the movie series as well as tie into the theme of contrasting the series' heroes and villains.
